Caffarella Park
An exhibition and short residency in Rome in collaboration with Jill Rock. The project explored the Caffarella park, a large park outside of Rome created on the remains of a large Roman road with various temples to ancient Gods. Participant collected stones in the park which were the remains of the Roman road, these were printed on using fallen leaves and seeds in the park. The idea was to give forgotten remains a new life and to explore the history of the area. The temple the exhibition was held in was thought to be the Temple of the God Rediculus, the god that Romans honoured at the beginning and end of each journey.
